Morning oats

I was about to make an oat-smoothie with cinnamon and frozen bananas, but I was so frozen myself that I decided to go for warm oats instead… ๐Ÿ˜„ It’s almost the same anyway, you just put it in the micro instead of the mixer. Same same but different.

By the way, there’s a lot of talk about superfoods these days. Chia seeds, matcha, pitaya powder etc… It’s often very pricy and it comes from other sides of the world. Not that eco-friendly if you ask me, but we want it because we know that it’s good for us! That’s where oats come in. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ It’s grown all over the world, you can find it locally produced basically EVERYWHERE. I know, it’s not very glamorous and not very “hyped”, but it’s so very packed with nutrients, fibers and protein! And oh so good for the wallet. ๐Ÿ˜ Just put it in your bowl.

Recipe:

  • 1 dl fiber oats
  • 1/2 scoop Forever Ultra chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 dl water

In the microwave oven ๐Ÿ‘‰ 2 min.

Top it up with peanutbutter, strawberries, protein crisp and banana.
